    someone to lean on

I've seen this on the front page, just when you uploaded the photo and I came back to it 3 times already. Superb capture, I do feel the cold from this image, I love the colours in the background and the prickly, frosty snow on the dry grasses. Fantastic! Oh, and by the way, you have a very fitting name too :-) Regards, Jana

  1. I love the narcissistic feel this image portrays for me. It looks as if the model has the walls adorned with massive photos of herself and visibly thrives in that environment :-) Wonderful, certainly a photo to remember. Regards, Jana

  2. I think both versions have something else to offer, the B&W version gives the model an appearance of a doll on a wooden stand, as the colours are less separated. The colour version gives the photo more human dimension, in my opinion. I think I would opt for the B&W version, as the model is positioned rather unnatural way and I think she is so stunning, she looks almost like a doll herself. But that's just my opinion. All in all, I love this photo, as I do with most of your work. Regards, Jana

This photo illustrates perfectly why I am a great fan of your work, it is technically excellent, the models are gorgeous and there is some fun to be had too. 7 from me. Regards, Jana

  3. I don't know, where to start, as my eye is still wandering and I am mesmerized by this photo. There is something mysterious, something folklore-like here, the colours are so beautiful and all compliment each other, the model is very feminine and truly stunning and the whole set up is so basic, yet very effective, as the trees are overwhelming and the sunshine so strong. Fantastic! 7 from me. Regards, Jana

It is always a pleasure to view your photographs and this one is no exception. To me the couple looks like it is under the ice and I had to look for quite some time to understand, what's where, and that strengthen for me the feeling of a frozen world. Superb. Jana

What a beautiful, vintage photograph. I like the B&W, the pose seems effortless and very feminine, the creased up sheets add texture to the photo and make it look realistic and less clinical, than sometimes studio shots might look. I love it. Regards, Jana
