Richard, Phil : Thanks, so if there's nothing obvious, it should be good. I was more concern about the VR. Could it be damage just by been shaken without marks appearing?

Thanks again

Thanks Matthew and Rodeo for your suggestion. Actually, I use LR on my main computer but wanted something I could use on the run.

Hi Josh, Thanks for your the links you provide. I went through some of them and what comes out for me is a remark from Ian saying 'that nobody makes money of these shots'. I must agree.
Also, I did not see, except one I know, a lot of PN user I qualify as at least semi-pro. The pictures I see from them everyday is so good I would expect they would be in favor of that limitation. But not seeing it doesn't mean they disagree.
One thing sure it that it is a hot topic.

Thanks Josh, I'm a bit annoyed but I think I'll live trough it.

Either it's my laptop or PNet site. On occasion, I download, like others, a picture to do some tests for additional comment.
But now, when I try to download one, I get the GIF format. I don't get it from other sites.
So, did Pnet site changes it's setting or is my laptop sc***ed up?

Gayana, a 17-50mm or so and a ultra wide angle are two different things and one don't replace the other. Try both and you'll see.

The pictures are good but the site is slow. Slow enough that I would not have the patience to browse it intensively. I have a high speed connection (11 Mbs) and using Firefox. Hope it help you.

Elliot Scott : I wonder why you underestimate your photo. It is really good, very nicely composed and well worth showing. I find it well above average.

Luis: Thanks for this copy/paste. Very explicit and a very good walk-by. What can I say... my search wasn't that good :)
And Thanks Bob for your input.

The way I see it is that with a little carefulness, I can't go wrong, and by the way the lens is offered at 650$
