I would consider cropping into the model's face. Her eyes are so contrasty and captivating that they distract from the jewelry.

The two things I feel could be improved are that the subject and background appear to be equally sharp and exposed, and there's not much of a sense of movement or scale.
Maybe adding a hand in the foreground, doing the "pushing", more selective focus, and maybe even added emphasis on the subject via flash-fill might help your goal.

That looks like Kramer on the left side of the frame!

That's a Damselfly Kenneth. Dragonflies rest with their wings out to the sides.
Beautiful image.

I think the balance is great.

Is that the real thing (shot with a Lensbaby maybe) or a scale model?

You call that skinny? I'd say robust~!

Beautiful shot John.

I wish there were a human figure present for a sense of scale.

Beautiful Daniel. Looks like a view back in time.

I find the second plate in the background to be distracting. Otherwise I like your photo.

A slight move to your left would have given the subject better background separation (from the apple bin on the right) and taken that tractor out of his shoulder.

Quite a cool place, is it not Andrew? I've been fortunate to get to visit there annually (8 years) for a trade show attended by my employer. My favorite shot was taken on a rainy afternoon.

IMO to reach professional quality the exposure would need to be a bit more accurate (this appears a bit over-exposed). I also might have tried for a shot where there was eye contact. Keep up the good work.

Flourescent light bulbs flash at a rapid rate, invisible to the eye but visdible on film. I believe that's what we're seeing here.

Reminds me of Weston's work.
