1.
A nice variety from all so far!
This is an interesting building, a photographer's studio from Niigate (now relocated to Aichi) , built about 130 years ago when Western design was mixing with Japanese:

 3.
Thank very much Gary - it was a pretty interesting stair; to cope with the crowds, the entry and exit for each floor are on opposite sides of the stair well, and so there are actually two stairs packed into a double helix, one "up" and one "down"...which thankfully makes for an interesting photo!

 4.
Lanterns at a nearby shrine:

 6.
Thanks for the classic air shots Ed, they are great - we'd love to see more.
Here are a few from a trip to Nagoya last month. This is the view up the stairwell at Nagoya Castle, 3 second exposure, camera sitting on a ledge:

 7.
#2...these are all from Tokyo-Edo Open Air Architectural Museum:

 8.
A nice variety of shots from all so far!
Following are all from my available-light friend, nFD 50/1.4:

 9.
Dave, if you do acquire an FD T/S lens, it would be great to see some of your shots posted on this forum.
I've never been able to find more than a couple of examples taken by this lens on the web...

 13.
Great shot, Bill - beautiful lighting and composition.

 14.
Gas Nebulizer...might have done more harm than good:

 15.
Nice one Alex, very geometric! Must have been a great day for making contrails...
At the risk of re-stating the obvious yet again, a nice wide 50mm prime is a great asset in dim indoor light...these are from the Tokyo Gas Museum.
Carbon Filament Bulb:

 17.
A couple of miscellany from last month.
A manikin at Shiseido Salon:

 18.
Bill - no doubt, that is "The Look"! Focused sharp as a tack, as always...you have no need for AF. I hope you put some mealworms out later as model's payment!
Carl - great composition which expresses the place nicely - would love to see some more of your Belize shots here, if possible!

 19.
Thanks Bill, but unlike your birds, mine were in cages...do you have anything for us this month?

 20.
Err...having a bad night..the eagle caption should also have listed a Kenko 2X Extender, which didn't do too badly for once. Good night.

 21.
(oops, that last caption should have read Fuji Provia 400X)
#2...sorry, no idea what kind of birds these are, except the first is obviously an eagle of some variety.

 22.
Alex, why does your EF's wind-on spindle have a Leica cap on it? A rare Canon-Leica hybrid perhaps! (with Nikon glass attached!)
My daughter received her first DLSR for Xmas, so we went to the local Zoo to try it out. Of course my FD kit came along too, and kept up well with the DSLR, for static subjects at least:
