Christal and Bob, thanks for looking. I particularly liked the DOF myself and was quite surprised how it worked out with the background. I have been absent for awhile, feeling that I haven't taken any photos since the snow that I felt were "sharing" quality. Not that I'm dumbing down my work, but I try to pick the very best of what I shoot to share on here. The ones that I feel can convey emotion. I'm so glad for spring to be here because I was getting tired of being trapped in the house due to the "cold." Probably wouldn't have been cold to you, but here in the South, we had an unusually cold winter, the likes of which hasn't been seen in about 30 years, since I was born. I hope you get some pretty flowers up there soon!!

Thanks Trisha. These were on the tree in my front yard. They are camellias, our state flower.

Thanks Trisha. It's funny what you think might appeal less to people actually gets more attention!

i gave it 7/7. i think it portrays Brooklyn exactly how i think of it (mind you i've never been there) just from stories and movies. cold, dirty, lonely.....(keep in mind again, i'm from the South and have never been above the Mason Dixon line)

i think the saturation works at giving it originality....

amazing colors....what kind of lens did you use to take these 5x15's? or did you stitch?

a striking color for an old boat and a great decoration for the garden. its a shame the powerlines are in the background or else you could get lost on the beach here.

thanks. I just haven't been as active lately, and i tend to forget to tag my photos, so i don't think they get noticed as much. i really had liked this one alot.
