After a long drive from West Palm Beach to Key West it is nice to wake
up the next morning on the Southernmost tip of the US with the first sun
hitting this historic mansion. It is convenient to the Southernmost Beach
Cafe and Hotel.

I appreciate your comment. I especially like the word "dynamic". It is something I try to achieve in my work and if you have found it in this quiet photo, then I have achieved my goal.
Thanks, my friend,

I love your unique comment. I am a blonde now and will never go back. Happy you like the photo, too.
Best to you, my friend,

I love this shot and I love that you have a cat that sits for you. And he's a beauty. Great colors and atmosphere. I am starting to look at everything as video now, so I am partial to the horizontal layout. So I don't think this loses anything, if I take the liberty of cropping. What do you think?

I have taken your comment to heart and intensified the color a bit for my archives. Sorry it took so long. I have been busy with my blog. It's my new toy.

This looks so interesting as night falls. Like most things. A favorite time for me.
Well done. Great reflected light.

I am glad you found the model "enigmatic". That is what I intended.
But perhaps I should have made a color version for you, the master of color. Your work is amazing.
Best wishes, Leora

I am glad this photo struck a note with you. I was especially intrigued with her eyes and attitudes. Glad you like the treatment.

I love the combination of stillness and motion with beautiful light and detail. A very unique portrait. It could be a companion or an alter ego in the background.

He is very handsome and reminds me of a famous Italian movie star. Your photo makes him very real. He is saying a lot with his eyes.
Your border is dynamic, because you have made a doorway into the photo. While the cigar is a great prop, it is not too healthy. But it shows that he loves life, while it lasts. He is not afraid of anything.

I think you are on to something, Leonard.

Great colors and it is perfect to have the horse and rider for a sense of the vastness.

This is amazing. They are really moving along! And the selective focus gives such a feeling of motion. However, it could be a problem if the leases get more tangled on the right. Looks like some expensive luggage there and plenty of stories to be told. Maybe he is an eccentric cinematographer...a great character with determination.
Terrific slice of life, Bob.

A memorable portrait. Delicate handling of tones and DOF. Subjects are engaging and in the moment.

Love the blues. Maybe a 1/2 stop lighter for the greens. Coasters next to water looks like fun. A perfect day for a ride.

Hi, Steven. Very dramatic view with the long shadows and warm tones. A feeling of movement in the clouds, too. It must have felt great to be standing there.
