Thanks for taking a look.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Kenneth, don't know how to upload the cropped image here, so I will upload it in my gallery.

Thanks Richard, for the comment. Kenneth, I was thinking about rule of thirds when I first shot this picture, but I tried what you suggested and I see that is it is better. Thanks.

Tony - thanks for the crop. When I shot this picture I was thinking about a sense of place - a sandy beach with an inviting picnic table, and the touches of color on the right in contrast to the reds in the boat on the left. But I see that maybe I was trying to capture too much, and that really what I saw that caught my eye was the dramatic sky.

I love it, Tony. The enhancement is not over-done in my opinion. Yes, makes me want to go there.

Great angle, and the clouds give it energy. Really nice, Tony.

I like this a lot.

Great shot, Tony. Yes, I can feel the cold, but also the kiss of sunshine on my cheek.

What can I say - just lovely, but then I am partial to birds. The slight lack of focus is in no way a distraction. This image almost looks like a painting. The soft lighting with a hint of lavender in the feathers is nice. Such talent, Gail!

So lovely, Gail! I love the butterfly and the warm colors are hinting at the coming spring.

I love the action in this picture and the Yellow-headed Blackbirds are so striking, along with the flash of red on the Red-winged Blackbird in the upper right corner.

I love trying to catch birds with my camera - always a challenge. This image was shot in low light without a tripod (I hate carrying the thing around with me). The only thing I did in Photoshop was adjust shadows and highlights.

I like this one a lot. Beautiful portrait.

Lovely composition.

I love clouds too. This speaks to me. Energy, mystery, power. Wonderful shot.

Lovely detail! I like the contrast.

This area of the Sierra/Nevada I have been to numerous times. It is just south of Lake Tahoe, off HWY 80. Yes, I live close enough to get over the Sierras at least once a year. I am relishing the adventure of shooting nearly all my pics in manual mode.

I live about 400 miles away from this lovely desert. It was about 70 degrees mid morning. The nights were down in the upper 30s at that time in mid October. I did a solo drive down HWY 395 looking for and shooting fall colors.

Here is the straightened and cropped image. I also adjusted shadows and highlights slightly.
