I think I answered my question, I doubt that you live near the Mojave Desert. Such an interesting and diverse landscape! How hot was it when you were there???? (lovely mountains in the distant)

I live about 400 miles away from this lovely desert.  It was about 70 degrees mid morning.  The nights were down in the upper 30s at that time in mid October.  I did a solo drive down HWY 395 looking for and shooting fall colors.
