Thanks, Michael. The nature just was there, was lucky to have the occasion to experience it.

I read it more as a friendly chat. I wonder, did they find a common language?

Fine light on the snow. Good composition, one can not really guess the scale of this shot, it could be just a couple of feet in front of you, it could be seen from an airplane.

In terms of skiing, this route is not challenging at all but thelandscape offered is unique.

Morning of a nice skiing day.

Nice discovery there. At the beginning I thought there is a cobweb on the tree but then reading a bit and understanding where this shot was taken I realized it is your almost never ending rain.

Laurent
Thanks, indeed the descent was a pleasure.
Larry,
When skiing I use a very small camera (you can see the Equipment tag below the photo). It is not much larger then a cellphone. And indeed sometimes I do put it on the ski stick by means of the smallest version of the "gorilla-pod".
Thanks for the comment.

Pnina,
Good to hear from you, I hope you are doing fine. The skiing week this year was in Italy.
Radu, Mike and Laurent thanks for the visit and kind critique.

I like the delicate color shifts from pink to blue in this shot. Is there anything like a "warm winter "?

Beautiful capture. With everything yellow outside (we have one of the heavy "hamsin" weathers, kind of sandstorm) it is very refreshing to see your shot.

Combining skiing with photography.
Thanks for looking.

Afternoon sun and a moment of good visibility. There was no accessthis year to this mountain due to heavy snow and avalanche. Butlooking at it from afar was still enchanting.
Thanks for looking.

The time came (and alas went away fast) for the skiing vacation.

You certainly achieved a very pleasing effect. The composition of the shot is also nice in it's classic simplicity.

Well, first of all I like the textures in this shot. Their expression is more of kind of what are you doing here, don't you see we are busy?

In spite of the fact that we are allegedly experiencing the driestwinter in about 150 years, the grass is pretty green. Flowers aresparse relative to the usual at this time of the year.
The picture is not of pixel peeping quality but thanks forlooking anyway.

The process by which this image was created is less important than the fact that the result looks just great. Very creative. I thought before reading the comments it is an image of a reflection on a glass surface.
