I like the way you used the wide angle lens here. There is a strong zig-zag line that guides the eye into the shot.

Thanks, Pnina. Wish you too a happy new year.

Nice shot, a dangerous place for the birds but I understand they completed the crossing successfully.

Beautiful fall colors and good composition. With the fog, it looks a bit cold and damp.

Would you go close to a well-fed lion?

Thanks Ruud and Radu for the kind comments.

Pnina and Gail,
Thanks for the visit and kind comments.

Thanks, Tony.
Indeed focus stacking would be interesting, the logistics of it are a bit clumsy as you need a heavy tripod, focusing rail and no wind at all to make it happen.
I will sometime certainly give it a try, it is one of the projects that I somehow always postpone.

Nice almost abstract shot. I like the color contrast between the orange leaf and the blue light in the bubbles.

Nice winter landscape with the sun of spring in it.

The yellow flowers attract a variety of visitors both insects and
shooters that caught the macro bug.

Tony,
As you can see I was also not very active these days. Your interpretation is valid of course but I wanted to keep the delicate pastel colors and the yellowish tinge of a dusty/sandy day.

Alf,
As one of our friends commented, this is a she as the male of this species is way smaller. I am glad you liked it.
Radu,
Thanks. Light was good as it was one of the days with sand comming in from the desert so life is diffuse (more or less like cloudy weather in temperate climates).
Ruud,
Thanks for the visit.
