  9. <p>that was a great capture with the heron and it's eggs Tom.....i was able to catch a greenie with eggs a few years ago, just not as close as you were able to get</p><div></div>

  11. <p>two hikes, two hawks.....the first two are from Tuesday of a juvi Red Tail that was more interested in it's quarry than me.....the second is from yesterday of an adult Red Tail that was perched on a branch about two feet above the ground</p><div></div>

  19. <p>looks like there is finally some relief coming after the next two days of cold........mid to high 40's next week to finally melt some of this 2 month old crust of snow and ice........woohoo!</p><div></div>
  20. <p>if your doing photography my only recommendation is to do Horseshoe Bend first for sunrise/early morning light while the sun is at your back and the canyon is sort of evenly lit.....it's about a 3/4 mile hike each way in mostly sand so it's not exactly easy, especially on the way out......upper Antelope is a zoo so it really doesn't matter what time you go unless you want to photograph the light beams.....for that you need one of the photography tours between 11am and 1pm</p> <p>attached photo is from Horseshoe Bend about halfway up the hill on the way out</p><div></div>
