I am taking my significant other on a 40th birthday trip. We will be traveling end of April, first week of May 2015. We are planning 4 days in Las Vegas, then two days to do Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the South rim. Then drive back to Las Vegas, and fly out to Las Angeles for 4 days before heading back home to East Coast Canada.
I am thinking of renting a car, leaving vegas late afternoon of our last day there and driving to antelope canyon (4.5 hours according to google maps?) and stay somewhere nearby antelope canyon.
Get up in the morning and do a tour of antelope canyon then horseshoe bend. Drive to south rim and stay a night near south rim to possibly catch sunset, but at least get sunrise before heading back to vegas the next day.

Have a few questions. (I did some searches and found some generic info but has some specific questions)
1. Accommodations recommendation for around Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend (Hoping for something in the $100-120 range if possible?
2. How much of a hike is there to horseshoe bend?
3. What provider do you suggest for tours of Antelope Canyon and what time? I would prefer a photo tour even though I understand they don't give much preference to shooting.
4. With Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend scheduled in one day then travel to south rim is there anything I am missing nearby I should see?
5. Accommodations recommendation for stay near South Rim?
6. Points of interest in the south rim?

Thank you in advance, I very much appreciate your input.

John
