good composition and lighting. They say that the horizon should not cross in the middle but here it works fine.

All the great things said about and its simplicity. It is your photo. If mine I would lower the crop so as to close out the print with the neckline of the garment. Simple, beautiful and the child deserves much of the credit. A perfect subject.

Is it suggested that an American soldier charging onto Omaha Beach is similar to a jewish girl going into a Muslim Neighborhood? Both photos were taken from behind. After all, who wants to be first? :-)

There is a Palestine on the map.. It is called "The West Bank." -
Iran, Iraq. What else? Sudan? ... looks like a potpourri. People hanging out because they have nothing better to do with their lives, which is what demonstrations are usually about. Oh, and don't forget to bring your camera. -

the flash on the faces makes the photo imo. The horizon is a little distractring but perhaps it is just the pitch of the boat.
