Nicely done, there is much to study in this image. I like the lighting and contrast. As always your work is inspiring and leads me to think of looking at things differently than what is normal for me. Thanks for sharing.

How lovely is this! I like the background, it sets off the little star of the show :) I like that it is not quite all the way born yet...so to speak, all the stages of life are represented. Beautiful!

This is one of the best photos I have seen of this amazing place. I like everything about it. The view is perfect, so much detail and interest for my eyes to follow from front to back. The water color and clarity is lovely but the kicker is that you have the foliage proudly showing off the autumn colors. I like that you shared your story about your visit too. My compliments Sherry.

Very creative and well presented. I am not sure how this was achieved but think I might try to get this result myself in the future. My compliments

What makes this one different is that the trees are not all standing straight or at the same angle. I like this and find it has much detail/interest for those who would spend the time to study the image. My compliments.

I am always drawn to these layered images and this one is no exception. Great control on the camera plus the addition of a person gives us a sense of scale.

Nicely done, love the colors and leaves (staged?) in the foreground leading my eyes into the scene. Great control and choice of shutter speed.

Well done, the colors are very true and the texture nicely presented. I have been at this place many times and spent many hours with my camera trying to get the perfect shot. I have a few images in my portfolio. I hope that you enjoyed the experience as much as I have.

Hi Arup,
I agree with the comment that Larry made above as far as adding more interest to this image. I will say that this is an amazing sight just as it is. I bet that being there to witness this was something you will remember forever, wish I had been standing there too! Thanks for sharing.

The mission was so secret that they didn't even tell me! :)

Christal,
This is a very back road between Oregon and N.CA. I was visiting my daughter and decided to drive back to Seattle just to see the fall show :) I have to say it was a long drive as I was alone but I took my time and just savored the moments. It didn't hurt that I just treated myself to a new car....that was fun! As always it is good to hear from you and I hope this finds you well.

I love this! I fear I might have been to frightened to stick around for long....especially if I was alone in the very mysterious place... you know, like in the movies.....hearing the music just before the girl always gets killed! It makes me wonder what is in that house or behind the next tree. I like the view you have chosen for this story. Well done Alf, great tones and clarity.

Well done Scott. You have captured something unique and interesting in this well photographed place. The colors and misty fog are perfect and yet we can still identify the waterfall. Love it!
Take care, Pamela
