This was just a shot in my back yard, I am looking to improve wherever I

can, let me know how I could improve this photo and others as I practice

    this great art form.

    This is a beatiful site!.

Only critique I would have is that a longer exposure on a tripod might have helped this out instead of with a flash.

  1. Great composition. The smokies are among my favorite vacation places. Well done on the exposure.

It leaves me to curious as to what is just above the frame of this photo, I think I would like a little more space to tell more of the story (just my opinion).

I like that you have not over-done this photo Wenqing. Lighting is perfect, and you represent an every day event for many of us. Coming home.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. Love this one, I am a fan of lighthouse photos, and this has a great atmosphere about it.

Might be a little more interesting if the right wasn't quite so dark.... but then again it might take away from the "mood" of the photo.

    Well done!

    Morning Run

Your runner images give me some great ideas for some of my own. I've found running to be something difficult to shoot. I can tell from your photos, you like to pick the location and then take it as someone is running through!

The lighting in this photo is wonderful.

Looks like a place out of a dream to have coffee. Love the Point of view of the corner of this building!

Keep up the good work Giuliano!

    Love the subject Jason!

A couple things that I think would help this photo.

As mentioned already, I think going to a larger aperture would give your subject more distinction from the background. (details list it at f9)

Also it says this was taken at ISO 1600.

For landscapes I think it is more effective to use the lower ISO settings.

  3. One of my favorite shots of yours! (Maybe because I'm a huge fan of golf).

Only critique I would have is the hands bug me for some reason, I'm not sure if it was a focus issue or a shutter speed issue (I would guess shutter speed). I would either like them more crisp, or ... more blurry for the motion.

    Everything else is exceptional.

    Overall a great picture!
