  3. No date on these frames, just they little dot showing the side that goes closest to the bulb. Or was it away from the bulb...
  4. Thanks Steve. Moscow was not one of the cities I was expecting, but I've matched all of the "tourist type" pics with places around Red Square. I'm guessing the "industrial type" pics are from the area too, but never knew we had any dealings with companies in Russia / USSR.
  5. I recently found two boxes of slides in a office at work and trying to determine where they were shot. The U.S. based company I work for acquired some European chemical plants/companies in the 1990s & early 2000s, so my first guess would be the locations are related to that. Also would be interested in when they were shot if anything in the photos suggests a date. Thanks, LINK LINK LINK LINK
  6. fb - I think either of those would work, but both only give you one port. This device would allow you to use your memory card reader AND leave 3 additional USB ports for that next device you need to connect. Not pushing that brand or that vendor, but I have a similar device on my desk at home, not because of limited ports, but because it is easier than crawling under the desk to connect devices. I often have 2 or more connected at the same time: card reader, thumb drive, USB headphones and phone charger. Kingwin 4-Port USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C Ultra-Compact Hub
  7. Do you need to remove the mouse dongle because you only have 1 USB port? Or is there a driver / technical issue? If it's because of one port, Google "USB hubs" or "Thunderbolt to USB hubs", being sure to match the port type you have available. You may also be able to go "Thunderbolt to SD" or "Thunderbolt to CF" for the same amount of money.
  8. I'm going with "None of the above". It's way to big for any of the planets (inner or outer) and if the moon was in that position relative to the sun, the side facing the camera would not be receiving any sunlight. Full moons occur opposite the sun in the sky. This site should be able to convince you it's not any of the known planets - 3D Diagram of the Solar System - In-The-Sky.org

  10. Are we talking about the older rangefinder lenses or the newer mirrorless lenses? Or one of each?
