This is excellent! A perfect example of a "Kiss" image. Nicely framed too! I'm so glad you didn't put the moon in....Congratulations Eric!

(Interesting letters IPE. Here in Canada it means "Interior Provincial Exhibition")

Anyway, for Deborah I think you should give credit to the trees for representing vertical, so the horizon is not the line you think!

  1. I Love this one. Can we improve it? I don't know. Reflections of the leaves?( Free transform/invert??Difficult with the flower in the way) How about increasing the contrast on the flower? I would like more detail in the petals. Try CS3>Image adjust>Shadow/highlights? Enjoying your work! Thank you.

I like the subdued colors, blue and brown; however I am searching for a center of interest. There are so many photos of rocks and water out there but this one stands out for photographic excellence. I still personally prefer the video camera for this type of scene but that is because I am a videographer as well! I'm glad you didn't burn in the corners...

    Congratulations Leo!

Congratulations! A very well worth-while rainy-day effort. Looks like it is made of glass! Maybe it would look better if the flower was moved to the side a little?

    Marmot on the Run

I took a photo of a marmot the other day, but he was just a blur so I threw him out. But I like this one because the background and foreground are blurred and you have conveyed a sense of movement. Yes one's eye goes to the eye indeed; and the head is nicely shown against the white rock. Well done!

Thank you George! My type of photo composition! I would prefer the verticals to be straightened a bit and the washed out left upper corner to be burned otherwise FINE! Michael

Interestingly a hand-held exposure of 1/10 second on this one. Some CS3 filters used.

I like the light on the nearest figure. Any suggestions for improvement? I love lots of

    verticals.

The color is well selected; I like your other still-lifes better simply because there are fewer objects and they are grouped more interestingly; here there are too many and the picture is too busy therefore. Otherwise photographically perfect. Maybe a little less noise in the brown background I would prefer, but the selection of space is good. Congratulations!

I like all photos with grey and olive green- lovely colors!

This photo lends itself to the square format, I would do a horizontal crop at the intersection of the road and grass on the left to make the photo divide into nice thirds; this would give yet another fine photograph!
