This is a photo of an Iris. That is all. The flower is beautiful. but the photo is too dark, the depth of field of focus is too narrow, so some of the flower is out of focus. The background is obscure, could as well have been black, or multicolored blur, but it is nondescript at present. Cheers! Michael

We were exploring the back roads south of Vernon BC for the first time, on a nice
warm sunny day. Comments welcome!

6/6 Lovely colors, turquoise, orange especially. A very pleasing image. Well done! Cheers from Canada. Michael.

A beautiful spot! I love the turquoise water, the reddish cliffs, the gorgeous inviting sand color, and the sky really makes this image special. Thanks for sharing! Nothing technical to say except probably if I were painting this scene I would omit the rock next the turquoise water. The reflected sun is great.
Cheers from Canada! -Michael.

He looks as if he would be an extremely watchful man! I would stay good I think! And stay away from him! Beautiful colors. A very sharp image, but I think it is just great! Congratulations! Cheers from Canada! -Michael

A Happy Guy! Some people just know how to smile for the camera!
He was arriving on his old steam train to mark a special event in Armstrong, the
opening of the new railway station built to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the
founding of British Columbia, Canada. Enjoy! Critiques welcome. -Michael

This is a great image, the light on the walls and the plant and the column makes this one exceptional! Congratulations on a fine composition, well framed. Cheers from Canada! Michael

Charles! This is Superb! Thanks for showing us all the way to great photos. Hey! You are supposed to be a beginner. What gives? Were you born with a camera around your neck? PLEASE post at 1024 pixels in future, it is permitted; then we can enlarge your wonderful images. Thanks for critiquing my photos. Cheers from Canada!- Michael

Thanks Tony. I am bending the thirds rule-: measuring from the picture frame not the photo frame!
HA! HA! Thanks for stopping by Tony!

CR f11 1/400 sec ISO 200 Thanks for Looking! It was a beautiful sunny afternoon at
25 degrees Celsius when we discovered this little gem of a lake up in the hills of Native
Indian country near Vernon, BC, Canada. Enjoy! comments appreciated.-Michael

Not a very good day, weather wise, but a fine image. Was it raining? Did you get your camera wet?
We have similar views where we live in Armstrong, Canada, the Shushwap river or Lake being the water. Where exactly was the photo taken? I think I would prefer it a little brighter! Cheers! -Michael

Thanks for your comment- I am still experimenting with frame size! Glad you like the fuzzies! M

Nice one but I like Goitstock 2 the best. Cheers from Canada! -Michael

Excellent Martin! a great balance between dark and light. The yellow dye is a bit worry-some but I expect it is just rust! It draws the eye. I am not concerned by the lack of detail in the shadows as the water is so attractively presented. Congratulations! Cheers from Canada! -Michael.

I am trying the fuzzy edge frame effect. Comments welcome!

The photo is fine, maybe a little dark & the building could be straighter, but I would be very interested in more photos from this area: other parts of the river, the Glen Ferris Inn perhaps, some houses on the hillside, the Methodist Church etc. The light on the water is perfect. Too bad they don't use the plant any more, we need all the electricity we can get these days! Cheers from Canada! -Michael

A great photo of Johanneskirke, Stuttgart-Feuersee. One can see a photo from the other side on the internet, so there must be water all around? The view from the other side has distractions like wires and poles, so this one is the better choice. The sky is well treated. The coloring is great.
Personally I prefer white frames and less vignetting, but otherwise it is great! Congratulations on catching my eye! Cheers from Canada!- Michael

My eye was caught by this young tree growing by an old truck wheel. Fortunately for
the tree the wheel was turned conveniently. There is quite a bit of tread left on the tire!
Comments welcome and thanks for looking! - Michael
