  1. A nice old house, probably early 20th C or late 19thC ; No eavestroughs. Maybe there

were two windows on the left originally. Modified from a photo by painting on Intuos 3

    and PainterX. Enjoy!

  2. This is one of my favorites of yours; it is a very striking image. I think your commentator above means (s)he likes the"quiet background". Thank you for commenting on my "Postcard" That is the format of my camera I guess!

The great picture above I would experiment with PS Image/adjust/shadow/highlight as I find it just a tad too dark.

    Cheers from down the road!

    Michael.

  3. I love this photo. The snowy hills remind me of December in New Zealand. I suppose this is somewhere in the USA but it would be nice to know! Congrats on a great photograph! Cheers from Armstrong BC Canada! Michael.
  4. A beautifully produced image, Eugenio! Well framed and edited. There should be many varying compositions from this location. I would like to see one from further right for instance, horizontal rectangular, with the foreground rock on the left of the frame. The colors are nicely subdued. Well done! Cheers from Canada! -Michael

Hi Leroy! Nice situational photo, Dad and Grandpa and the Kids. Now run around and take them from the front? I would accentuate the clouds and crop some of the foreground grass. The light and colors and contrast are very pleasing. Thanks for sharing! Cheers from Canada, Armstrong BC, where the pumpkin season is in full swing. This week-end we have a pumpkin catapulting contest with 13 teams vying for the prize! ( I don't know what the prize is, maybe a huge pumpkin! ) -Michael
  5. Very strange rocks well captured, nice black contrast and graduated sky, water. Very nicely framed! PS I have a personal problem with this type of composition, where most of the subject matter congregates on one edge.

So I tend to make a squarish composition out of it. What do you think?

Nice touch with the photographer. I hope he doesn't fall in!

    Cheers from Canada! -Michael.

  6. This portrait stands out from the other model shots because of the soft light which caught my eye.

At this size and res I cannot see any reflections in the eyes. The white shirt is perfect. A great photo of a handsome guy! Thanks for commenting on my photo! Cheers from Canada! -Michael

  7. Thank you for your fine comments! These posts are all boat moorings, mostly for house-boats. I wish I had a summer photo to show you but maybe you can find one on Google. They have Dragon Boat Races here every year. There is 800Km of shoreline on this huge Shushwap Lake. All is deserted now except for a few gulls, Canada geese, or the odd fish hawk. The rim of yellow is Fall colors in the distant poplars. Cheers! -Michael

    Thank you Jeff!

The colors are wonderful, the composition almost perfect, I think this looks great whether sharp or blurred, either way suits me.

I always consider a figure would add to the composition. The purple shadows in the leaves, and blues on the trees, are really great. Cheers from Canada! -Michael

  8. A Good Black an White with balance of tones. I love the composition, with the snow, the foreground shadow, and the strange boulders. Is that a lake in the middle background? With rocks and mountains one has to look for faces- I see a face in the big rock on the right- do you?

Thanks for sharing! Cheers from Canada! -Michael

    Painted Hills

A very fine abstract landscape, good variety of tones and colors. Could almost be a butterfly wing!

I would prefer a size of 1024 pixels. One could experiment with different hues. It is a bit granular but that is a personal choice. Thanks for sharing! Cheers from Canada! -Michael
