I have the Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL and am very happy with it. It is an excellent performer.

What camera(s) are you using this weekend?

I will be loading up this Nikon F, with 43-86mm f/3.5 Zoom-Nikkor Auto, which I found at a recent estate sale. -
JDMvW, I enjoyed the write up on Argus. I have a C-4, and was looking for a Geiss modified one. I happened upon a C-44 at an estate sale and was able to negotiate a deal for it. So now I am Argus x 2. I have seen a few Argus C3 Bricks. There was one for sale in an antique store around here, but the price was ridiculously high. Most likely they considered it a decor item.

On the FM3a you need to pull out the film-advance lever to the standoff position and press the shutter-release. Unless you are using the MD-12 motor drive.

It may be a Nishida Wester S2.

Troy, is your focus mode selector on the F4 set for S or C? The camera will not AF if it is set on M.
