1.
Its been a few years since I have posted anything, I miss the ol girl and trying to be inspired again. Photo from a trip to Wilmington, DE that was cut short due to huricane Sandy. Hope you like it!

00bsP6-541677984.JPG.3b9b0a65dd5fd0465461c3c43ad9196a.JPG

  2.
Hello Everyone,
A few great shots out there this week. Mine is from a recent trip to NY. Image was captured early in the morning, pretty boring sky, so I flipped to Negative then changed it to B&W came out better than I expected. :)
One of my favorites from the trip.
3.
Hello Everyone,
I haven't posted in a long time, came back around wanted to share. I took this a few weeks back now, the wife and I love to back and cook, After I made these Pralines I felt the need to break out the camera and take a few shots.

00YJsP-336615584.JPG.09d1aa9d9f899f8a6757cae58d94e4aa.JPG

  4. Wow! Lots of great info. Sorry I am getting back so late. I currently shoot tokina 12-24; kit 18-105; the 50 1.8; and the 70-300. I shoot a variety of subject matter had a few paid jobs but really hobby and a tech nerd. I even like the zooms I have but love the dof of the primes and the speed in low light. in short just trying to figure out where to spend the tax return. :). Thanks again.
  5. All right I tried searching the FAQ and it always seems to be all around my question but not exact. So. I am looking to upgrade my current selection of zooms to equal primes. I would love to hear your list of 3 must own primes. I currently have the 50 1.8 and love it except wide open its a little soft but one stop is all it needs to be a great work horse. I would love a few others looking at wider and something with a bit more reach. Looking at sigma 24 1.8 next but interested in the collective thoughts.

    Thanks,

    Dallas

  6.
Michael, thanks for the review. I have had very few people mention it being slow. I will look into seeing what I can do with that. I have also formatted the screen size and ressolution to fit the majority of the vistitors to the site. At this time I am looking to display my work not really use it to gain work, or to sell which is why no phone number.

  7.
This was taken, just a few days ago at a “Safari” near my home. I love the idea of being able to be a part of the animal’s habitat; but I do not like the fact that they cannot be animals. So when I snapped this shot, it was really the only thing that I could shoot, but then it really clicked with me. I love the sadness in his face, as he is trapped behind the fencing that restrains him from being an animal he deserves to be. I love animals and as they cannot speak for themselves I believe we should speak for them from time to time. Maybe you get the same thing out of this shot as I do, maybe not, so’s life.

00WHwV-238071984.JPG.2ec50225ab52edeb409b2cb8c4332f4c.JPG
