I love the drama and colour of this shot, Tony. In my recent winter excursion into snow country (in a town in northern Japan) the snow was newly fallen and it was hard to move around.by car or on foot. I had few choices of scene or POV. Whole new world for me! -

Thanks Tony. I've not worked with snow before so couldn't picture in my mind how it looked when I got back home. (I've read that a truly accurate memory for colour is a rare thing and much in demand in certain kinds of work!) I have to say though that the scarf was pale blue and your version does make his face look a little gray! Regards, Adrienne -

This was the Togoku Shinkansen. The window space was white and made, as it turned out, a good silhouette, and they were engrossed for an extended period of time just across the aisle from me. Luck. -

Tony, I Love this and can really appreciate it, as I have just had my first experience of photographing in fresh snow. You can only drive where the roads are cleared and you can't move one step off the cleared roads or you are knee deep in snow. But I have got taste for it. -
