Dear Chris, i do an interior shooting (cca 30% of my work). I have canon 40D at the moment with tokina 12-24. Very good lense for the money - very low distortion - that´s what you need for the interior shots. For your 1.5 crop camera I think you need something at least bellow 14mm. Speed is not so much important, F9 is your speed. Used lense is the option.

Excellent photos Kenny! Did you use for those scans the wet scanning or not? How long did it take you to achiefe such a good results using V750? Would you share with us some tips? After seeing your photos i am highly considering to by V700 or 750. For scanning so far I was using imacon x5 but it´s expensive to scan everything on it. Thank you! Petr

I agree with John Norman. That´s exactlly the point.

It seems some people have a different definition of what the "better" means. Some people kind get into a subjective area. What about to change the question: what technology can capture more information at single shot - color, resolution and density.
Then to me an easy answer: 8x10 scanned on virtual drum scanner hasselblad flextight x5. better colors, resolution and density.
When I look at trees and grass shot with digital technology it is clear to me - still a long way to go for digital.

What about Canon 100 2.8 macro instead of normal 100 2.0? It´s a bit slower but it´s a macro.

I suggest Tokina 12-24 & Canon 50 1.8. Both super IQ for super price.

Dear Antoni,
The idea from Scott sounds good to me. Thhe best scanner for your needs is without a question Hasselblad Flextight X5, last model scanner from Imacon (now Hasselblad). There is nothing better in the world right now. My friend has one. So if you want contact me at my email fototyll@gmail.cz and I am sure I can help you. Use cheap scanner and then for the good shots use the Flextight.
