I do like these photos of many birds together. I have tried a few myself, and haven't really felt like I succeeded. I think in this case there are too many and more importantly, the light has provided a very glarey background which gives the photo a lower aesthetic appeal.

I think the lighting is good. But, surfing is about the beauty of the wave and the surfer on the wave. I don't usually like seeing s smaller wave already crested and in the foreground of the composition. The shape of the wave ridden is not particularly beautiful in terms of color or shape. Lots of whitewater and froth is typically less desirable than a solid color.

I think you have to be a little careful shooting form a high vantage point as it compresses the size of the wave. The lighting looks good like the sun just broke out from behind a cloud to illuminate the scene. The action portrayed shows a good amount of spray throw.

Working a little on the color balance is a personal choice. I think that red could be a little more red and less brown. The atmosphere was well captured and the placement of the skaters works well.

I guess you have to have a passion for surfing photography. This is a shot I want in my portfolio some day. I think it was well executed.

Looks like a nice view from Glacier Point. I probably wouldn't have the tree actually touching Half Dome, but it does make a nice framing element on the right side. I was fortunate to have been to Yosemite three times this year. Cloudless days makes the photography of the granite monoloths a little less interesting.

You appeared to treat it with some kind of filter like maybe a watercolor filter which kind of creates a blockiness the the image. It gives the photo a unique look to it and unique is good as it ma attract a different set of eyes on the photo. I don't care for it personally.
This water angle or head on view is very nice for the moment of capture.

Thanks Samrat. Panning the camera is the other ingredient to get this effect.

My applauds for getting the timing right for this shot. I think everyone who has tried to shoot pelicans wants a shot something like this. Now, you have to work on getting an even better one when the light is a little more colorful, for example.

The light is a little bit on the glarry side. Did I even spell that right? But the position of the surfer coming out of the pit is nice as is the color of the water.

Great use of shape and lines to create an impression of something else.

Colorful with a lot of movement to it. You might look into cutting back on the saturation of the yellow and see if you can draw out a little more detail especially near the center of the image.

The wave season is returning to my area of the world, so I am searching for more wave
photos to add to the portfolio.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

I really liked the look of how the water turned out in this particular shot.

A nice study in geometry and shadows.
