Hello Jeff. Very beautifully done. I read your comments above about your views on PS. I must say that my feelings are very much like yours. For me, PS "over-users" cross the line when they start taking elements from different images and combining them in to one. Or even worse...using the same element in multiple images. I have seen this more than once on photo.net and lose interest rapidly in photographers that use this technique. On the other hand, although I don't have PS skills, I greatly admire those that do use it in artfully creative ways to enhance a photographic image. This puts me in a place quite distant from where I was a mere couple of years ago...when I rejected anything but "purist" photographers. I guess what I mean to say is that we all have our points at which we feel others have crossed "the line". Just as likely, there are others out there that probably feel even you and I cross "their line". What the digital age has done is opened up a real can of worms in two respects. Firstly...in the "good" can of worms is the creativity it has allowed each of us to express in our own ways. Secondly...in the "bad?" can of worms is the "melting pot"...or coming together...of different styles which in turn creates far more controversy, and ultimately many different communities of photographers. In real life this is where "gangs" begin. This is how religious wars begin. I certainly hope it never comes to that in photography. In a way it becomes like "doping" in sports. Once a couple of athletes begin to use the dope, in our case PS, then it puts pressure on all the others to do the same so as to remain "competitive". Unfortunately we're stuck with the dilemma.
Peace, to you, and to all photographers.

Hello Shaheen. What a beautiful image. The composition is wonderful. The sea and the sky perfect. Would it be possible for you to try toning down the sun just a bit? I believe it would add a great deal to an already great image. This is just a suggestion. I understand that it may be difficult to do with a sun that is so bright. Best to you.

Hello Linh. Outstanding capture. The bird is perfect...and the "dancing water" adds immensely to the presentation. Nicely done. Cheers.

Hello Mike. What a unique image. The shade of green is an excellent compliment to the blues in the image. Very cool. 6/6 anon. Cheers.

Thanks to each of you for your very kind remarks. I simply love the main genre that I work in with my camera. Birds mean a great deal to me. I consider the wonder of bird migration to be the "eighth wonder of the world". One that should have much more attention paid to it by each of us. It is truly a marvel beyond compare. Cheers to each of you.

Hello Gail. No need to sharpen this one. I really like the softness of the painterly effect. I'm very partial to woodland images like this. This is my favorite of your work. Cheers.

Hello Jeff. Another visit to your portfolio has brought me to this marvelous sunrise? sunset? image. Nicely captured. Takes my thoughts to the heat of the situation you are an integral part of. You are in my thoughts. Keep up the good work, both for our country...and with your camera. Cheers from Salt Lake City.

Hello Roger. Beautiful work on this one. Subtle color tones are great. Lovely image to start with. That always helps. 6/6 anon

Hello Allan. What a great capture. Very original. The angle of the animal is perfect. It would be impossible to have him running toward you AND leaping in to the fog at the same time. You captured the best of the two options for this unique image. Cheers.
