    Wow, John, it's been too long since I've seen your work--and I'm blown away! What a stunning image! The way you've placed the petroglyphs so that they're so naturally part of the composition--and of the landscape--very nice indeed.

     

    I also wanted to thank you for your considered and excellent comment on my heron. I will definitely try the crop you suggest. I guess I thought leaving some space in front of the bird was a good thing, but let's see how it looks with the squarish format.

    Great capture, Bob! Nicely done, too, incorporating the different light sources and still capturing the clouds and stars without star trails. Looks like a lovely place!

     

    Thanks for your comments on my "Quiet Morning" photo; in fact I will be posting some more from my time there. You know how it is...I spent so much time shooting, I don't have time to edit and post!

    Really nice capture...the texture really stands out. Very fine. I didn't get to see this scene at night...what a shame...even a Canuck can be moved by this!
