Christal1664882414 0 Posted July 11, 2009 I'm glad you got close enough to reveal the wonderful texture in the walls.....and the pattern of stones on the sidewalk. And the lighting is just wonderful......you did this classic shot proud! Link to comment
jtipton 0 Posted July 11, 2009 Hi Ray- Great shot of this hallow ground. For me visiting this place was a very emotional experience. You did a wonderful job capturing the essence. Best wishes-Jim Link to comment
dloberg 0 Posted July 23, 2009 Very well done. The lighting is perfect and makes the detail of the texture pop. Best Regards, Debra Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted July 24, 2009 Lovely light and composition, Ray. I like the lighter bits top right and bottom left that form a sort of "x" shape with the receding lines and shadow patterns of the front façade. Link to comment
naturegirl99 0 Posted July 27, 2009 Really nice capture...the texture really stands out. Very fine. I didn't get to see this scene at night...what a shame...even a Canuck can be moved by this! Link to comment
rbanfield 0 Posted July 28, 2009 Really appreciate all the great comments that this shot has envoked. This is one our National treasures and to me it was a real experience being able to photograph it. The Alamo occupies a square block of downtown San Antonio but in the hearts of the Texans I met it occupies so much more. And so it should...RAY Link to comment
