Personally if I saw people doing this stuff I would stare and/or take photos of them, drawing more attention to them. I guess if you used something like this with a longer lens, it would work, but I think it would attract attention from anyone nearby.
They are pretty funny though!
Good halloween costumes

I saw that, as well. My girlfriend thinks it's only an online project, but I hope they will actually show it on tv.

I carry an RB around the city from time to time. You will be fine with the RZ or RB, although those rangefinders would be better for solely street work. I want to pick up a 6 at some point for more handholdability.

Holga makes a pinhole panoramic camera or you could buy a Holga 120 and the 35mm adapter. One problem with the Holga and 35mm film adapter is that to unload your film you have to use a darkbag or unload someplace where there is no light (not completely positive on this). You could also make your own pinhole panoramic camera.

I want to use a flash, a Nikon SB24, with my Mamiya RB67 and other cameras. So I bought a pc sync (pc male to pc female), but it seems the port on the lens and flash are the same. (Is that a pc male or female port?) Do I need a pc cord with male/female connectors on both sides, or should I just get a hotshoe to pc adaptor? Also to use a second flash, a Nikon SB16, connected to the first should I get a pc cord or hot shoe to pc adaptor? Thanks in advance.

Have you considered a Leica CL. They are M mount, and I think they are cheaper than the Zeiss Ikon ZI. They go for $300 to $400, body only.

Here's a good resource for small 35mm rangefinders. I think a Holga would be too big for what you want.

OMG

If anyone cares where the three LF cameras are: 1. bottom right corner; 2. behind the podium to the right; 3. across on the bottom right of the press photographers' stands

Found the third

There was a thread started in another forum (don't remember which one) that started a "Where's Waldo" sort of thing. There are three large format cameras in the photo. I have found two, but I couldn't find the third. There were hints on the other forum, but I can't seem to recall them.

I guess mine's the opposite of Shun's post. Getting my first all mechanical and medium format camera, a Mamiya RB67, really shaped my photography. I am now processing my own B&W film, and I will start printing in a darkroom this summer.
And I just got an F3 which feels so nice in my hands I can't put it down.

Is the price for the K20D body on Pentax's website ($899.95) with or without the rebate?
-

I would bring the smallest camera you have, if your not sure if you are allowed to bring one. If the have a metal detector your probably screwed, unless you can throw it in a cluttered purse (sometimes the bag checkers aren't that thorough). They don't worry about P&S's. So you might be fine with a small rangefinder. I would shoot at ISO 1600 or 3200. I will post a photo I took at a festival of Radiohead shot with Kodak P3200, when I get to my home computer. You can see it in my portfolio also. It's grainy, but I like the look.
Give them a call and see what their policy is about cameras.

I believe the pentax is weather sealed too. That is a big advantage for some.

Yes very nice images. I am working on my manual focusing as well. I think it will come with experience, like you said.

You should look for used darkroom equipment. I saw a complete darkroom set go for free on craigslist. The person just wanted it out of his/her house. You might get lucky and find what you need after a couple of months of searching.

You will get better answers if we know what equipment you already have.

I carry my Mamiya RB67 in a Delsey Gopix 90, a photo backpack, or a large Nikon shoulder bag, depending on the occasion. I can carry all four of my lenses, including one on the body, in the backpack, and in the shoulder bag I can carry the body with a lens and the metered chimney finder on and an extra lens.

Sell it on the classified here.
