    Composition is great. I like how the face on the towel is offset from the baby's face and that the left eye is covered by the towel. The "line" (albeit invisible) flows through those things.

    I love the tone of this photo, and I love babies and mothers- being one I understand that look on her face. I wish the babies eyes were more in focus though.... Adorable baby.

    Even though her face isn't in real close focus, the light and detail on her hair is very fine. Its that fine, baby hair that you love the feel and smell of and wish it would never grow out.

    thanks for your kind words about my photo. The thing that strikes me about this photo is first her eyes and second the color. While she has a very serene look to her face, its intense- I think the contrast between her light face versus the color or her garment is great. I love the other one of her as well- maybe even more.

    as i was driving through the bleary Iowa winter countryside yesterday, I thought- how would you ever get a good shot of this gray-brown land? I don't know where you shot this but it is similar to our vast farmland. And this is an absolutely gorgeous scene! The composition is filled with energy- from the blast of sun, to the placement of the two trees and the hint of blue in the sky. Great!

    i love the reflection in the floor and the texture on the wall with the texture of the tutu. does she have a feisty personality? i personally like the bright highlights on her face and top.
