    In her eyes...

I have seen several examples of this kind of work and I like it too. I like your choice of scene. I think the little girl is a little large however in relation to the surroundings. Her face also seems really wide in relation to her shoulders and the relative size of her hands. Just my 2 cents.

I debated whether to choose this with the overlay or the original.

Does the overlay detract from her face? Comments so welcome! Amy

I love this shot. It catches my eye every time I scroll through the children's category in the critique forum. The composition is great and your model stands out well from her white surroundings. She looks like she likes to have her picture taken.

having three girls of my own, i just love shots of girls. This is absolutely precious! I love the lighting too. Did you alter the lighting in PS?

Molly, I like the beautiful overlay and I have been seeing this effect a lot on photos. I think I would like it better if it didn't go over her lips since baby lips are so fine to look at- also not over her left eye. While some people may think the bright highlight on her face is a little blown, I really like it. I love the crop too. Beautiful.

if you use digital, have you tried using the high pass sharpen in Photoshop? I notice that makes a huge difference- also makes more noise but I can't understand how it really does sharpen the slightest bit of blur. I also read in Scott Kelby's book that you can use the unsharpen mask to sharpen. There are specific settings for using that feature which I can't remember right now.

    She's very cute!

This is a very sweet shot. I like how you placed the father/son team to the side of center and left the flash of light at the top. Is this image unaltered or did you use some blur in PS? I love the dirt on his hands and he looks so happy to be with dad.

I loved this baby's dark black hair and the way it lay around her ear.

I wish I had gotten more of her eyelashes and a bit of her nose. Any

    comments welcome. EVEN NEGATIVE ONES!

This is a great shot. Was the environment murky and dusty or did you create that effect after the fact with PS?

I love the simplicity of dogwood blooms and I can't wait until mine pop open. This shot is so beautiful and I love everything about it.

great shot- I love the perspective. Makes the trees loom all that much larger. How do you get a shot in the fog? I've not done many landscape photos.
