  1. You have captured a precious moment here- that look in his eyes is to die for. My 2 cents, the blue shirt distracts from the emotion of the moment and I don't think you need the shirt toned. This is a lovely shot and would be perfect just b&w! Great job!

This is so great. What a unique environment and I love the pose! The little tree is a little distracting to me. I would try to clone it out in PS. But I love the shot, anyhow!

very lovely. I am sure the bride will be tickled to see this beautiful shot. Very artistic! The greens are so rich and the reflection like old, rippled glass!
  2. Makes me want to go on a vacation! The composition and with the rays of sun streaming from the corner and the bend in the road and the bit of hill in the foreground is awesome! The lines keep the eye moving which is what great artists strive for.

this reminds me of our 5 years living in Andover, MA. How many of these doors with the sidelights like this we admired. I love this urban decay style. Great photo!

    Tamara,

I did the images of this baby girl for free for a friend and she never said a word about them. Ironically she had photos done by her aunt who has a studio here in town and the white balance and the quality were off to me and has those plastered all over her house. Its funny what people like and don't like and it forces you to develop a thick skin. Thanks for your comments. They are so appreciated!!! Amy

i have been back to this photo literally and mentally about 100 times since I first saw it. Its just magical. Something about the illumination on that veil, the energy in the angle and in her left arm, the mystery of where she is (I saw a different angle of this on your web page which also includes you and was amazed at how ordinary the setting was- that makes it even more remarkable) just blows me away. Thanks for sharing it.

this model likes a fashion model. I really like the vector border at the top. The border at the bottom obscures the train which looks like it has some beautiful detail of its own. The font on "My Bride" looks a little casual compared to the subject of the photo and the intricateness of the floral border. My 2 cents. Great photo.

I love this shot. The detail on her face with the intricate little veil is awesome. I am doing my first wedding in 5 weeks ans will definitely go for this one. I just got the much less expensive 50mm 1.8 lens and when it focuses gives a great blur. Was there a window just to your right?

this is really very pretty- the colors, the softness, her freckles... There is a white line on the right side that I would try to smudge out. But this is very artistic and I love the crop!
  3. the colors are great considering this photo is taken in full sun. Sunlight also makes really harsh shadows which hide her cute eyes. Try finding some shade (or using fill flash to reduce some of the darkness under her eyes) for these mid-day shots so we can see those eyes. What a cutie!

Ladi, thank you for your kind comments on my photo. This is beautiful detail. I like the direct light and shadows on the petals at the back of the flower and the rflection is great.
