  1. Fantastic lighting and colors. Imagine how many feet have used those stairs!

    gypsy

Yes, Razaq, a wonderful photo of life. I like the contrast between the darkly-dressed and smoke covered man (and another child?) and the beautiful colors of the woman and baby. For me, this sets up a very nice contrast in the image.

    Morning Romance

I saw your photo in the Daily Photo Sampling, Razaq. Very nice capture of the perfect moment and a great scene! Congratulations on a fine photo.

    Untitled

Awesome!! I especially like the bright colors of the grass and vehicle cabs when contrasted with this very nasty looking sky!
  5. A peaceful and majestic scene.  Wish the colors could be more intense though.
  6. Nice scene and colors.  I would crop out the lower portion of the photo though, just below the clothing on the line.  That bottom corner seems too dark and detracts from the rest of the photo, in my opinion.
  7. Beautiful shades of green and wonderful light!  Very nice!

    Lion in water

An awesome moment, I am sure, Ray. Wonderful photo. I had the great experience of seeing a male lion late at night, but did not get such a great photo as yours!

    La Tour Eiffel

Excellent exposure and perspective!  Like it very much.
  10. Wonderful colors in those rolling hills of Eastern Washington! Nice lighting, which you always seem to capture. Beautiful scene.

    Girona

Colors, sky, light, composition... it all makes for a very appealing photo.
  12. Excellent light and scene. I feel as though I'd like a closer look at the horse and rider, but then that would eliminate some of the overall image. I especially like the way the foreground contrasts with the dark background and sky.
  13. Many times beauty is where you would least expect it. Nice composition and texture!

    Reflected Blue Windows

Charles, this photo really caught my attention. Another thought, which I like, is to crop off the greenery and wall. For me, that adds an element of curiosity and more abstractness.

    Runlet

Unique and colorful image of something so easy to overlook.  I like the creativity!

    100 L1002691 fix

The contrasts and light are very nice. The scene makes me want to see more detail or sharpness in the foreground. I would be pleased to get this shot though.

What a fascinating scene and great photo! Impressive.

    Snow

Wow. Very nice, Madeleine. That whitest area of snow beyond the tree really adds to the photo.

    Bugerru

I have the same general opinion as Jim, although the surface of the platform seems to complement the colors and shapes of the buildings below. I might have stepped (leaned?) more to the right and moved that railing out of the center of the frame, thus showing less of the platform that way.

    Gull look-out!

Laurent, there is so much going on here I had to enlarge and then search for a gull. I do like the colors, but I would personally crop out the top half of the image and somehow work with a tighter shot. Just my opinion, of course! Regards.

    Forgotten

Excellent color and reflection. Very artistic shot.

    Only-fog

Wonderful colors, composition, reflections, mood. Very nice!
  23. A nicely exposed and composed photo. Great cloud formation. I like this a lot.

    Ripples

My first impression is that the ripples on the water are a bit distracting. It might be nice to try the scene with slightly calmer water? But I like it! The sunlight is a little bit harsh in upper portion of the photo. Nice reflections.
  25. I like the foliage and reflections in this photo. The foreground seems to be not especially helpful though. I'm wondering if you could get closer to the water, back just a little more distance from the bridge, and get a nice reflective photo that eliminates the walking path (or perhaps minimizes the focus on it). For me, I would like to see more water and trees and less uninteresting walking path. Looks like a peaceful place to spend some time.
