You might of tried a different angle. The lighting of the picture obscures any detail in the beauty of the animals feather structure. I might also suggest a tighter crop on the two animals at the top ... they appear to be parting from one another and that might be an interesting story line. v/r - Jason

I would appreciate any comments and suggestions on cropping, framing,
artistic expression. This animal was beautiful in flight. There are
more from this series that I will post soon.

Wonderful shot ... I would love to know how you captured this moment. Is this a bird that frequents the area? Tri-pod or handheld ... zoom lens? Wonderful shot ... I could stare at it for a long time.

I would appreciate honest and thoughtful critiques on this image. I
am still learning, but loving it.

I would let the eyes retain their color ... they appear as though they may be green :-)

Not offended ... merely challenging others to put thier best work forward. This is clearly not yours by the look of the rest of your gallery. You can do better and I look foward to one of those.

what exactly do you think the artistic quality in the photograph is?

I do love the colors in this image. The grain of the wood pops off the screen ... awesome. The foreground and background are both well exposed in this shot. nicely done.

I love the expression captured in this image. It is truly the expression that makes it. Maybe consider cropping out the bottom of the photo to focus on the expression. Just a thought.

wonderful sky!! The foreground is nicely contrasted. The only negative is that the image bends on the right distorting the second hay bale. There is also a good deal of pixelation in the separation of the foreground and skyline. Is this a picture composite? If it is, you might try some blurring along the seems of the images to remove the pixelation. (and if you get it to work well ... tell me how :-) )

Thank you for the feedback. These are my nephews a few weeks ago at that beach. A storm was coming in that night and it made for some interesting skies.

nice view. The contrast could be a little higher, and something in the foreground (maybe more of the tree line) might add some extra impact.

The Eagle Has Landed ... this is one in a series of shots of this
wonderful animal. I think she was showing off for the camera.
