Any suggestions on framing/lighting?

I used window light on the right and a white reflector for the left side
lighting on the flowers. The background was left unlit to drop off
after the vase. Any comments or suggestions for improvements
would be most appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to view.
Sincerely, Jason

Hello. Thank you for the opportunity to review this image. I love golf, especially the great fields of green that we get to stroll upon during the course of a morning 18 holes. The grass here looks especially dark to me. A little increase in exposure of post processing to brighten the image could be helpful. The other thing that caught me is how flat the image looks. With the grass coming up around the ball; instead of shooting down on the ball ... you could get a little lower to the ground and shoot at more of an angle to give the 3 dimensional aspects of the grass around the white ball. Just a thought. Thanks again for the change to review - Jason

Krista - It looks like this is your first post ... welcome to photo.net! A couple questions? Was the camera set to auto-focus the scene or did you select auto focus points for your subject? The eagle - so beautiful - doesn't appear to be in focus as much as the limbs around it. This causes the eagle to fall into the background of the image instead of its forefront focus. I do like the framing of the limbs around the eagle; nice choice there. It add a good element of grit and nature to the image. The sky having some cloud cover in the background gives the image an added quality as well versus a plain blue sky. All in all, a very nice shot - just adjust autofocus points to the eagle and adjust its location to draw the eye into the image.
Thanks for posting. It was nice to view.

Wonderful colors and focus. Nothing to comment on here for improvements. Very nice. I really enjoyed it.

I took this one in addition to the full lengths rose shot also put into
the critique forum. It was the first attempt at controlled lighting of a
floral shot for me. Any impressions or recommendations would be
most appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Would like to know what thoughts this image brings to you; and if
you have any suggestions for possible improvements. Thank you

What is that going in the foreground? For me, more a distraction than an enhancement for image focus.

The color of the outfits and the capture of the parade is quite nice. To me, the vignetting is a little distracting to the overall image. It would probably stand quite nicely on its own. The subject is in good focus and the background is present but not overpowering ... great shot.

Trying to capture the sandy beach feeling of a kid at play.
Constructive comments are always appreciated. Thank you for
taking the time to give this image a look. Cheers!

I like this very much. Nice work to take such an ordinary object and turn it into something so much more. I'd like to see a little more detail in the rust on the wires to give it some grit; but that is just my view. Excellent image.

Very interesting concept ... it definitely left me with a smile. Alternative caption ..."Fly me to the moon.." :-)
Only suggestion I have would be to set the birds lower in the frame to ascend to the moon.

This looks like a quite, natural moment captured for all time. The colors pop nicely against the tree. The framing is great... the expanse of the tree behind her give a real sense of being cradled in the tree trunk. very nice image.

The leftward tilt of the castle peaks compared to the near ground objects gives the image an off look.

The colors of the horizon line against the dark branches is nice. You might consider featuring them a little more. With the expanse the image current covers the overall image is very gray and plain. If you crop down the image it will give the overall image much more punch. I would suggest not cropping down with the horizon centered on the image, but higher on the image so that the viewer gets drawn up to the rich colors in the setting sun. It may help to straighten the horizon a bit so that it doesn't rise up on the right. The contrast could be adjusted a bit to bring out the outlines in the clouds a little more as well.
I hope you don't mind. I am attaching an example of what I mean.
I always love sunsets. Thanks for the opportunity to review this one.

The lighting and the framing are very nice in this image. The foreground blades of grass give nice dimension to the image. The wood of the dock and the more neutral grass around it wash out a bit for me. The richness of the image could may benefit from some selective contrast boost. Thank you for the change to review this.

Any suggestions on framing/lighting? I have another image in
critique as well with less foreground that this one. I think I prefer the
more dramatic sky and less foreground in the other image. What
about you?
