thanks all for your input. I almost buy a new LPL 150mm F4.5, but before I make the final payment, i posted this thread. Likely I got all information from here. Thanks again, I decide to go Big three.

I use the normal carrier without the glass (135, 6X6, 4X5). I will use three sizes of film to do enlarge. Currently I have a 80mm Rodagon and I am looking for 50mm and 150mm. So I may focus on Rodagon (may be apo) and componon (may apo) or nikkor el lens. Let me know if I am right. Currently I will focus on B&W and later may try color.

I have just let a repairing person to do CLA for my shutter. He told me that could be fixed by CLA for most shutters. If you can take it apart and put back, it is a chance you can save some money.

I asked camera repairing people (three guys) they told me they used ethanol plus ether (1:2). Isopropyl alcohol has much higher boiling point and takes longer time to evaporate that can condense water on glass surface if air is very humid. I used this solvent to clean all my lens and found it worked well.

I just got a Rodenstock - Ysarex 127mm /F4.7 lens with Prontor SVS. I do not know any thing about Prontor SVS shutter. Could anyone tell me the link or website where I can download user instruction with pictures for this lens? I cooked the lens and release the shutter without any problems except I found I have to use more strength to cook the shutter compared to my Copal shutter or Prontor Pro 1S. Is it normal for this shutter?

I just got a lens - Rodenstock Apo-ronar 360 mm and I have a Linhof Technica IV camera. But my friend told that my camera's below was not long enough to allow me to use this lens. Is true what he said?

thanks every body. Micheal, I did not think about the problem you mentioned. For easy operation reason I openned aperture to max. I may set up to min and retest again.

I just tested my three lens, Rodenstock randagon 90mm/6.8 with copal shutter, Rodenstaock Sironar-N 135mm/5.6 with copal shutter and Rodenstock 210mm Apo-sironar-S with PRONTOR-PROF 1S shutter. 90mm and 210mm shutter are accurate from 1s to 1/15s, 135mm shutter is accurate from 1s to 1/30s. My question is : Can CLA fix the higher speed shutter unaccurate probelm?

just forgot 3 old type 120 back. Etrs has no mirror up function and it is verry useful so you better get etrsi that has this function with TTL flash.

I will say it is not a good deal since now you can find a set of etrs with quite cheap price. I just bought a set three months ago on ebay with etrs, grip, AEII, 40mm (MC), 75mm EII, 150mm (MC), 250mm(MC, focus ring is quite loose, but still workable), three cokin grey filters, extra focus screen and an aluminum case for $300. The condition is good, not excellent, but work well.

I found that there two place I could connect shutter release on this shutter. I did not find a butter as Copal shutter that is used to widely open shutter to do focus.

I just purchased a job cpp-2 processor and like to do the film development at home. I am organic chemist and it is no problem to make those developing solution by myself. The only problem is I can not find the Kodak E6 kits chemical ingredient formula online. I found one site it gives the chemical formula, but someone said it was not accurate and may not give the right result we want. Can someone tell me where I can find the Kodak E6 kit formula that allows me do homemade solution.

Recently I bought a Linhof Technica IV on ebay. I found the instruction manu was for master Technica (V) and it was too simple since I am new for this camera. Where I can find the instruction with all details? If I can get a vedio, it will be very helpful.

I purchased an enlarger LPL C7000MAX. Unfortunately it did not have manu with it. Where I can find its manu?

As two previous people said, you definitely need a wider adaptor rings for you wide lens. I have bronica 40mm (95mm dim), 80mm(67mm), 150mm(67mm) and nikon lens (77mm dim and 72mm), I have 95mm and 77mm Lee adaptor rings with step up ring (67mm t0 77mm) that is much cheaper ($5) than lee's rings. You better get a wider adaptor ring that may cover more lens with several cheaper step up ring.

I do not know about large format lens. There are two of them, Rodenstock Sironar 135mm MC 1:5,6 and Rodenstock Grandagon 90mm MC 1:6,8 in excellent condition. How much they worth?

There some linhof cameras that draw my attension. one is Linhof technika and it seems a 6X9 format, with Super Rollex backs (I guess 6X7) and another is Linhof Technika IV 4X5. I like to know the difference of weight between two and operation. Cons and pros for each one.
