Aspen's 4th of July parades are not complete without some epic water
fights. A young girls relishes the cooling water as a water fight ensues
between the truck's inhabitants and the Aspen Volunteer Firefighters out of
frame. This is a repost after some good cropping suggestions. Thanks for
stopping by! C&C's always appreciated.

Bob,
Great capture of one of my favorite spots. I like the texture and toning as it gives the image a nice mood, well suited to the actual location. Lovely lines leading my eye across the dunes and dune grass to the lighthouse.
If anything, I would like to see a bit more space above the lighthouse to set the lighthouse in the frame and add a bit of balance to the expanse of beach below.

Andrew,
Very well lit with nice tone and contrast. For me, the dark shoes and the models dark hair create a triangle that frames the model nicely. A lot of dynamism in the pose, but still wonderful grace in her expression and both arms and hands.
Great work!

Thank-you for the comment. From the first time I visited Cape Cod, I could see why so many painters were drawn to this wonderful spot.

Very nicely done. I like the macro point-of-view, great detail as well. Nice sharp image. One of my favorite subjects as well as they grow right out the back door!
Well done!

I really like this shot and it's been captured quite well. The woman's hand is so delicate, the tension in the man's arm is wonderfully juxtaposed to his smile. B&W does this image proud, as you should be for this great shot. Well done.

Critiques greatly appreciated. Goat's Beard blossom photographed at f/22,
8 seconds at ISO 200. Light painted and processed in CS5. Desaturated,
levels adjustment, layers masks.

I really like this shot for its timeless nature. A hint of color might add a bit to it, but that's just me. Love the smooth tones, too. Good job!

Hi, Marc,
Very nice, once again. For me, the softening of the water is just about right; not too much so as to lose form and just enough to suggest movement. The exposure balance is spot on, too. Well, done.

Very nice, Marc,
Nice perspective and colors. Getting ready for our snow here in the Rockies as well.
