All the elements in the photo combine beautifully to create a striking image, with great colour, detail and depth of field. I like it a lot.

Looks slightly empty in the middle otherwise very beautiful especially how you captured the light. Contrast is probably managed better than some of your recent images posted. View is ...again ..as your style truly original.

Best,

I really like the composition - lots of lines to lead your eye.  And especially I like that this is not an oversaturated landscape - your colors look real!  Very nice image.

Simply beautiful.....what a great capture. 3 inches of snow at Logan Pass in Glacier Park on the 29th......of August. Summer is too short.

All these comments is proof that people like unnatural, overblown, oversharpened, HDR techniques.  Sorry perhaps in light of other comments, but the unnatural colour loses a lot of these for me.  I wonder about the difference between the 'as shot' and the 'as presented'.... lots of photoshop.

Can't say that the colours look particularly unnatural as per the above criticism. I've seen light like this many times and nothing here strikes me as over the top. Perhaps the blooms on the left are more vibrant and bright than one would expect but the overall effect of this is similar to how the brain would perceive it at the time I would imagine. If one were to adhere strictly to reality then perhaps Mr Bloggs should check out photojournalism instead.

Not really sure what you're seeing there John that others aren't.  There was no HDR used here, the light is real, the colors are pretty darn close and that's about all I can say.  I do see the flowers being a tad on the vibrant side but they are really small and hard to show in web format otherwise.  All the colors you see here are easy to get right in the RAW file with only minor adjustments.  I make no claim to strictly documentary captures (far from it!) but I certainly don't see what you're seeing either.  Many of my images are represented by some of the most respected publishers in the world and they like them the way they are as well.

I should reiterate though, that I make no claims not to use PS to enhance images.   I think that much should be pretty clear.  I don't think PS is going away any time soon and I suspect people will continue using it to present their photos to the best of their abilities.   Photographers throughout history have used whatever was available to them to enhance their images from super-saturated film to filters (even colored ones, gasp!) to the darkroom.   I'd like to think we're pretty much beyond the 'should you or should you not use PS to enhance images' debate in today's age.
