<p>Hi Matt.<br> <br />Every one of your images is truly beautify. Your niece's portrait is really nice, and capturing the full rainbow is really memorable. Nice framing too.</p> <p>I don't know where everyone is going to. My duties have kept me from necessarily getting the POTW week up on time, so it may partly be my fault. Maybe its election blues? <p>Hi all.</p> <p>Just a few days until all this election craziness is over. A week ago I voted and waited in a 2.5 hour line to cast my ballot (early voting was at the Carmel Library). We had to drop some books off at the library and this time the line was a 5 hour wait! This image was from the outside of the building as it wrapped around the building and doesn't show it snaking through the book stacks inside the library.</p> <p><img src="http://d6d2h4gfvy8t8.cloudfront.net/18307545-lg.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="596" /><br> Pentax K3, 18-55.<br> ...and now onto more conventional images for me.</p> <p>A couple more images of Red-Headed Woodpeckers. <p>I have and like both the K3 and K5iis. I'd say the K5iis is a tad sharper, but I really like that I can swich on and off the anti asing (?) filter on the K3. I've had a few really bad images on the K5iis because of the lack of the filter, but generally since I shoot natit is not an issue.</p>

<p>If you find yourself in Northern Indiana not less than an hour from the Chicago area October/November is a magical time at Jasper/Pullaski National Wildlife Refuge. Thousands upon thousands of cranes migrate into the area and move between an open area in the refuge to nearby grain fields. It is quite a spectacle, especially early in the morning or late afternoon.</p> <p><img src="http://d6d2h4gfvy8t8.cloudfront.net/18302823-lg.jpg" alt="" width="900" height="596" /></p>

<p>Hi All.<br> I learned this lesson the hard way. If you own this lens DO NOT ZOOM QUICKLY! If you do it will get stuck and zoom only 180-450. It appears to be a design flaw and likely needs to be repaired by Pentax/Richo.</p>
