Wonderful capture. The light adds to the image. Soft focus to the left, you might consider alterantive cropping.

Is this too symmetrical? Thanks for you feedback?

Two faces visible on the upper right area of the rock. Interesting.

Thanks for the feedback. I will consider your suggestion about the feedback. I uploaded a color version under recent uploads. I think it retains much of the effect from bw. What do you think?

Thanks for your comments. Ted, I used the channel mixer to convert to BW by selecting monochrome and than playing with the red, green and blue values until a desired effect is achieved. Finally, I use the color balance to give a particular tone to the image. I printed this image on my Epson R800 on Premium Lustre paper and was very pleased with the results. Given the cost of BW processing I am increasingly more and more impressed with what can be achieved using this process to obtain bw, even from the limited dynamic range of chromes. Best regards.

Please compare to the BW version. Does this worker better in color or
black and white? Thanks.

This is where the Passion of Christ was recently filmed. Ancient city
of Basilicata featuring the Sassi where homes are carved into the
rock below the main city.

Congratulations on your exceptionally creative image. This image conveys a wonderful, dreamy quality without being forced. There are many stories that it can tell, I get a feeling of being on top of the world in command of life. The dog representing nature that flows with us. I would be interested to know what it evokes in you, as well as others. Best regards, Morey.

Adrian, thanks for your comment. I like your idea of cropping out the grass in the foreground.
I do think Tuscany can have different interpretations and different moods. Regards.

Each person tells a unique story. What was on their mind when the
shot was taken? Thanks.
