Hey, long time no see... wow this is one funky shot.....I'm trying to work out how you captured it.....my best guess is you piled all this stuff into a scanner and took a scan! It really grabbed me, abstract, patterns, textures, composition....I LOVE it!

    Well done Tim

    Best regards, Hugh

I love the seemingly abstract jumble of shapes and textures, all brought together so tightly by your composition. Great lighting and tonality too. Time standing still!!!!. Best regards, Hugh Price

    Thanks for looking! %^)

This shot was made using a Canon Lide60 Scanner direct, plus a bit of

    Photoshop!

Let me know what you think!

Thanks Jerry and Marina. You were right, the image has now been cropped and looks better for it. Great suggestion, and thanks for your comments. Best regards, Hugh Price.

I wish we had more of that sort of thing back here in Blighty, hey, ho, I think I need to come over there. By the way, your not missing much, weathers turned wet and windy, we lost Wimbledon, and the politicians are still sucking us dry!!!!! Have fun wherever you shoot, regards, Hugh.

This is surreal, a mountain in the clouds...? Is this a real photo or some magic Photoshop trick? Either way it is sublime! Nice work, best regards, Hugh Price

Thanks Bob. Thanks Jim. I have just started trying infrared and having a great time with it. It is a bit like Christmas because you don't really know what you are going to get until you open up the file on the computer!

This is an exceptionally beautiful image, I'm really sorry but the powers that be won't let me give you a 7/7. Is this with ND Grad filter or HDR software? Love it, best regards Hugh.
  1. Hi, this really reminds me of pinhole stuff I did when I was at college 20 years ago, yet you did it on a 5d........how? Great composition and light, lovely shot, well done! Best regards, Hugh.
