My regards to Winky. A very good photo. My regards also to the photographer, also because he deserves a supportive word for his noble attitude.

LOL, you really made me laugh. You know, on a bar on a summer afternoon things can easily get out of focus... And in those rare occasions I can be arty. But in the next morning besides an occasional head hick I realize I am probably not an artist. What I am is a very curious guy that likes to do different things at the same time, or to jump from one theme to another, which as a big downside, it's not easy for me to have a style. But, hey, that's life.
Back to the photo, I applied some contrast and darkened the sky, I am not sure if it can take much more contrast but I will try. Thank for your time and comments. Regards.

Strange colors outside the windows that are really open to fantasy (there is a party going on?). I would have moved closer (if possible) and give more prominence to the windows. Regards

This a beautiful and classic street portrait. Very lovely expression on her face. I don't think the sun is distracting, but that's only my opinion. Regards.

This is not the kind of picture to be interested for long. This is pure pop art futility in pastel colors. Now, for something more serious, although I can understand your point, the idea in this case, for a rainy day photo, was to keep colors not saturated and contrast low. And my idea was also to play mainly with yellow and green. I dodged the two more proeminent fruits (in reality street lamps) to add a little (subtle) color contrast with the foliage. I believe this point can be of disputable taste, but it works for me.
I must confess that, at this stage, I much prefer this image to the "cafe on the beach" photo. Both are "experiments" (call it "things I do just for fun" could be more appropriate) that I will normally let "breed" for months, and then decided if I still like them or not. The feedback on PN can have a role in my second toughts, and I think you know that I value some opinions much more then others. Your opinion is always welcome and of great value, even if for the time being, we agree on disagree. Regards.
PS: You can be "bruttaly honest", even more, you should. I like the experience I am having in PN a lot, but one thing that really strikes me is the amazing number of "touchy" people and "delicate" egos around. I am all in favor off saying things politely and in a pedagogical way, wich I think you do, but if you post a photo for critique it is supposed that by definition its to be critiqued and questioned, otherwise it should be named "praise and glory forum".
