jbidarra 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Thank you all for your comments. Mary, No I wasn't driving. This is a bar on the beach, and I was as motion stopped and calm as one can be. Regards. Link to comment
whosecameraisforpix 0 Posted August 21, 2008 Beautiful, original work. Thanks for your comment on my pic - both like and dislike that circle (!), and was curious to see what others felt. Best wishes Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted August 23, 2008 Joaquim, it looks like taken through a glass....The colors, texture and blurred forms are creating in nice abstrct. Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted August 23, 2008 Thank you all for your comments. Pnina: It is not a glass window. It is a plastic window (protection against the wind) in a bar on the beach. Regards. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted August 25, 2008 so you were in a bar, I can see where this is going ;-) Turning arty on us are we? Seriously though, while I don't have to great an affection for most abstracts this looks very attrative to me. It is a good photo. Just as a question. Did you consider upping the contrast a bit? I think it might work. Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted August 25, 2008 LOL, you really made me laugh. You know, on a bar on a summer afternoon things can easily get out of focus... And in those rare occasions I can be arty. But in the next morning besides an occasional head hick I realize I am probably not an artist. What I am is a very curious guy that likes to do different things at the same time, or to jump from one theme to another, which as a big downside, it's not easy for me to have a style. But, hey, that's life. Back to the photo, I applied some contrast and darkened the sky, I am not sure if it can take much more contrast but I will try. Thank for your time and comments. Regards. tonmestrom 4 Posted August 25, 2008 been there, done that so I know. Jumping from theme to theme can be quite refreshing to do sometimes. Actually I've gone historical a bit for now (just a bit actually). As for the rest: visiting here is always fun. Regards, Ton Link to comment
