is certainly worth a visit, or some visits. For a lot of reasons, for instance the abundance of opportunities to take photos. The shot shows a intersection of the central autobahn (interstate) which covers about 800km or so of the east-west distance. The rather wide autobahn is free of traffic signs, lane signs, guardrails, hard shoulders, motorway bridges... Being a socialist country, the autobahn there is allowed for all persons and vehicles, no discrimination at all. So there are bicycles, mopeds, cars, huge trucks with some hundreds of people as payload, horse-drawn vehicles and of course pedestrians in mostly peaceful coexistence using this autobahn. -

17-May-2008 in La Manga, Spain, at the Red Bull KitePunks. This trendy kitesurfing is a pretty cool and fast thing, as are apparently also the boys and girls doing it ;)

I was again displeased with the rather bad performance of the 30D plus 70-200/F4L at this sports event. The metering is mostly good, but the focusing... Only very few shots were on the spot. But maybe I am just to stupid to operate this AI-Servo mode correctly.
