It's always a joy to comeback to your portfolio and this minimalist-surrealist (I am referring to the lone flamingo and it's V-shaped trail on the water) series just made my day.
This picture get an extra attention due to blue-orange contrast which gives it a surreal feeling. This blue is specific to "blue hour" when the sun is gone and the fact that you found a few drops of sunshine makes it amazing.
Congratulations,
Daniel. -
Gorgeus picture Giangiorgio!
If I were you, I would try to increase the contrast between the sky and the heron for a bit (see attach - btw, I like the frame, but it was larger than 630px, the limit of the inline attachment).
Either way, I love it. Congrats. -
Impressive textures and light. I love the long exposure effect of water on the bottom. I would crop a bit from the top; the small tree seems that it doesn't belong to the picture. Great exposure, by the way. Regards.

Excellent timing. I love the pose of the cheetah. Poor Bambi :(
It seems they were pretty close to you, considering that you shoot with a 300mm.

I heard about those vipers and about how venomous they are. I hope that this one was really small (btw, how small was it?), otherwise you slept with the death as a cushion...
About the shot I love the colors and the texture. Regards.

I can listen to the wind too... Light, compo, details, the pose of the girl, the girl ... all beautiful. Congratulations!

In the thumbnail it seems like a photo collage ... and a bad one :( The big picture did justice, anyway!
The absence of the shadow gives the image an unrealistic feel, which I like it. Good shot! -

Personally, I love it the way it is. Probably if you would use a slower speed (for a smaller aperture), you would gain details on the body (but you can't be sure, due to movement of the insect) but you would "lose" the wings.
Regards. -
One of the best things about photography (and art in general) is that you can transform a banality into something beautiful. Shorter said, you can see/show the beauty from banalities. This shot is a good example of that. Congrats.

Beautiful lights, color tones and composition. Congrats.

The car ligth trail and the "star" makes the difference from a good shot to a great one. If you would ask me, I would crop a bit from the top and the bottom.
Still, there is a strange little thing: the "star" is white, but the trail is going towards the horizon, which means that the car is going towards the horizon. In this case, the star should be red and less intense, as the taillight are usually red and less stronger. Regards.

Excellent colors, light and focus, but most of all, great timing! It looks like dancing, you almost hear it flying!
Felicitari!

About the picture, what can I say, great tones and textures!
About the technique, I think there are few of us who didn't play around with long exposures, but this (and the whole "Drive-by" folder - where from, IMO, the "the fairest of them all" is the Autumn) proves what fine pieces of art can result when you take the play in serious. Thank you for sharing it Gordon, thanks to the elves for revealing it. You really inspired me with this POW. -
Nice composition and star trail, but the horse (apropo, fain nume ... pentru un cal :) looks artificial. Try to decrease the flash so the horse (or any other compositional elements for star trails) it's not that visible. For star trails, IMO, the best light is the natural light. In this case I would prefer to see the silhouette of the horse. I know that a horse who stands still for 30 sec (at least) is a dead horse, but I guess you can trick that by a less stronger flash. A gel filter for the flash (to change the blueish artificial color of the flash) would be a good idea too.
Regards.

I love the lines from the "movement blur", but the problem (to me) would be the feathers of the left wing (bottom right on the picture). They have an unreal and distracting shape (caused by too much sharpening?). Anyway, nice shot.
-
Excellent shot. I love the downward diagonal, even though everybody (including me) would expect the upward diagonal. The paradox is that that's the strength of this image. Regards.

This is one of my favorites from your portfolio. Great timing and exposure. Regards.

I guess the lonely palm tree on the beach it's (almost) on every landscape photographer wishlist. Here's how my wish looks like

I love the deep blue sky in yours. Did you use a gradient filter or it's ps?

Excellent composition and message. Those signs are able to control the horizontal (e.g. traffic) but they can't control the height. Not yet... Congratulations.
-
To me, you sharpened it way to much. It shows on the branches of the trees (especially the right one) and on the water. And you have a little, but distracting dot on the bottom right (vignetting maybe?).
Beautiful light and composition, indeed.

And I could watch the elegant drawing of this photo all day. Simple and beautiful.

I've seen this behaviour before (not witnessed, unfortunately) but this shot is just perfect: the shape of the flock, the position of the predator, the color and luminosity of the clouds, the simmetry of all elements... It's just breath taking!
Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
