GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 1, 2009 Anohter beautiful shot Ross....I can see the ice on the trees....lovely....I think you can actually see the bluffs where I live from where you took this shot. This park has 'ghosts of family picnics....my little legs climbing each step to reach the top of the slide, just to feel the rush of quickly making it to the bottom, only to start again.....I can feel myself riding as high as I possibly could on the swings, and begging Dad to push me even higher......I can remember my parents putting me in the little toddlers swings........and then my children when they were young...... if we were lucky....we got to share some French Fries from the either the 'Snack Hut'....or the Jubilee Pavilion.....my Father taking so many photos here.....and I also.....watching a circle of people search the waters for a missing man....I was only about 11........Dad took photos...but I didn't like that idea at the time.......they found the poor soul....the undertow had taken him......the first dead person I'd seen .....fun times at the annual GM Picnic......dances at the 'Jube'....'The Lincolnaires (Dad took their first promo shots).....Little Ceaser and the Councils.....so many memories....and of course my teen years.....trying to find the 'perfect parking spot'.....(I won't go any farther than that!!)....so many memories.....so many years ago it seems...thankyou once again.....Gail Link to comment
Timo Hartikainen 556 Posted August 9, 2011 It's almost like a b&w photo. Simple, beautiful. Link to comment
danielsimionescu 0 Posted August 9, 2011 To me, you sharpened it way to much. It shows on the branches of the trees (especially the right one) and on the water. And you have a little, but distracting dot on the bottom right (vignetting maybe?).Beautiful light and composition, indeed. Link to comment
