Flamingo at dawn ( Phoenicopterus ruber) - View larger

At dawn there is a magical moment , that does not last long, when the

oblique rays of the rising sun make sparkling with golden highlights

the traces of flamingos. The photo was taken from the top of a hill

overlooking the lagoon of Cagliari at the distance of about one kilometer

BRAVO!  This is an amazing shot from a long distance with a long lens.

Sembra che l'acqua prenda fuoco, un effetto originale. 

It's always a joy to comeback to your portfolio and this minimalist-surrealist (I am referring to the lone flamingo and it's V-shaped trail on the water) series just made my day.

This picture get an extra attention due to blue-orange contrast which gives it a surreal feeling. This blue is specific to "blue hour" when the sun is gone and the fact that you found a few drops of sunshine makes it amazing.
