1.
I just discovered the gigapan technology and I would like to use this for a personal website.
The problem is that using Gigapan I must use gigapan.org to display the images online.

Any ideas about a similar tool that would allow me to add these type of content directly on my personal site?

Thanks!

  2. Hi!

I have a question about the shootong / postprocessing techniques used by Jessica Claire.

    Here is an example: http://www.jessicaclaire.net/images/content/ACF2C78.jpg

She always has these beautiful images with the couple covered by the ray of lights and some yellow and nice sun

behing. The sun is not overexposed and it looks great.

Are there any flashes used? I would they she is not using in these kind of photos.

so ... are the photos exposed corectly only for some parts (the very bright) followed by some magical Photoshop?

    Thanks!

Any tips for these techniques will be very appreciated.

  3. Hi!

    I visited this site:

At the end of that post it is a movie player with a slide show.

Any idea what software it used?

I really like the player and I would like to use it.

    Thanks!

  4. Hi!

I smashed my Canon 40D like 5 months ago. Nothing happend then, I used it since with no problem.

I was 2 days ago to a Leonard Cohen concert and during the concert it rained like 20 minutes. I got some water on

my camera, but I thought is a waterproof one. Anyway ... after the rain I noticed that one of the 9 focus points

(the one on top) is a little bit blurry (appears like 2 squares) and it has next to it like a blurry red shadow.

Any ideas? Could be an effect from that smash? I happend so long ago.

What about the water? Can it be the problem?

    Thanks!

  5. I tried to use this feature for the first time and I think I don't quite get it.

After setting the bracketing I have the right symbol on my lcd. I press the shutter and I get only one image.

Am I suppose to have three images by pressing only once? Or I should press three times and use a tripod?

    Thanks!

  6. I've been to an interesting place monday evening and discovered this young people smiling while they were tango.

It was so overwhelming to listen the good music and watch there faces just smiling, been happy.

  7. I was in Balcic, Bulgaria in the weekend using my new 40D and the 18-55 mm, f2.8

    lens.

We were walking in the botanical garden and I sliped on some wet stairs falling

with the 40D in my hand, smashing it on a very solid rock stairs!

The hit was so strong that I thought it will be all broke.

But no, it looks perfect, I mean nothing happend. It has some scraches on the

built in flash cover, but the flash it's ok. The lens was also hit. I was luchy

cause I bought las week an UV protection filter and the shock was on the filter.

The problem is that I can't remove anymore these filter, it's stuck. I guess

    it's little bit baggy.

Anyway ... it's not in my intention to remove the filter (i'll just go to some

professional lab for that), but I still can get this out of my head.

    5* plus for 40D body!

  8. Hi!

I saw today from another post the portofolio bellow:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/hangingpixels/2512879764/

Photos look great, the post processing is very nice.

I noticed tha the photographer is using 2 flashes (canon 580) and 2 umbrelas.

I haven't used flashes before ... are these lights enought? I guess in that

enviroment (sea shore) you can use only these kind of lights.

I'll have a wedding in july, and the outdoor session we'll take place around 9

PM, when the light is not going to help me for a long time.

I guess these is one of the solutions, using these flashes. Any ideas where can

I find some good tutorials about these?

    Thanks!
