The picture looks preatty good to me. I wouldn't change the background to black, maybe I'll try to make it much blurry in the back.

To make the background black you'll have to make a selection around the baby or just paint with a black brush around him.

It happens that it won't focus. I have to remove from the body and reattached it

I just got a Canon 40D and these lens.

Is normal for these lens to have a sound (like a small engine) everytime I

focus? The sound keeps after the focus is made.

Hi!

I just came back from Bulgaria.

I shoot jpg and some of the photos raw.

I imported the files with Lightroom. The jpg looks ok, the raw files also.

The problem is that the raw files change their color settings when I'll display

them in details. They look as they should when I view them as thumbnails, but

when I click them to see more details the "Working" progress is on and when the

file is clean the images changes its settings, getting cooler (I didn't nottice

for the White Balance)

Any ideas? This is for the first time when this happens.

Also ... do all you can and fix the photos by yourself.

You can do this in 5 seconds:

Image > Adjustments > Shadow and Highlights

Image > Adjustments > Exposure

Don't get this kind of info asking on a forum.

Just add some Google Analytics code to your site and watch there all the infos about the people who visit your site, monitor resolution included.

1280x1024 is the most common, I guess!
