Thanks, Daniel. We were caught in fog for three days and this was the first day I saw the Matterhorn again. So I'm happy that I was able to photograph anything at all. But I get what you mean and I also would have loved some more action in the sky.

The wonderful Matterhorn reflecting in the Riffelsee just before sunrise.
Thanks for looking and all comments.

The wonderful National Park of Plitvice in Croatia.
Thanks for all comment & suggestions.

The fifth one is just a ridge in front of the actual peak.

Four beautiful peaks in the Styrian "Gesäuse". From left to right they
are Admonter Reichenstein, Sparafeld, Kalbling and Riffel. Been on the
middle two ones and will add the left one this summer.
Thanks for looking and leaving a comment.

This is in the center of the gorge where every corners bears a new
surprise. Shot from a shaky bridge with the tripod twisted between the
treads to stabilize the image for a few seconds.
As usual this is a manual blend of several exposures.

Love the Dolomites. I've also been there in October 2009. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too great near the "Geisler Spitzen" so I only have one decent shot from this place.
I like your shot and putting the village into the scene enhances the majestic appearance of the mountains even more.

The light might not have been that blue - I can't remember. One thing that happens here is that the light inside is very warm. Everything in there is made from wood and so all the reflected light is quite yellow. Compared to that, the daylight coming from the outside definitely feels very cold.
I kept the light that blue to enhance the warm/cold color contrast a little. Thanks for mentioning it.

These leafs were surprised by the cold front that reached our
mountains about two weeks ago. In this area it snowed and rained in
alternation which lead to the bubbly look of that puddle surface.

We were covered in thick fog after we climbed up there but the next
morning was wonderful.
Thanks for all comments & critiques.

The famous "Tre Cime di Lavaredo" above the little village of Sexten.
Taken on a frosty morning from close to our shelter.

Thanks for commenting.
This place is called "Jamnigalm" and it's a plateau at about 1800m.
The peak ahead is the "Vorderer Gesselkopf" - height about 3000m.
All of this is part of the national park "Hohe Tauern" which includes
some of the heighest peaks of Austria. An area of sheer amazement.
Processing notes: There are three different images in here. One for
the foreground, one for the mountains, and one to recover the
highlights in the snow. All of them manually blended with masks.

It was funny to look at the sleeping duck drifting on the pond
yesterday morning.
Thanks for all comments and suggestions on the image.

This is the entrance of the most beautiful gorge of Styria. I took
this shot on my way back to the parking space after some hours of
waterfall shooting.

Shot last week with my new Canon 5DMII. I hope you like it. Thanks for

Shot last summer in the Austrian mountains. I hope you like it.

Shot in Upper Styria (Austria). Here you see the highest peak of the
region, the "Dachstein" (2995m) wrapped in some nice clouds.
