This place is called "Jamnigalm" and it's a plateau at about 1800m.

The peak ahead is the "Vorderer Gesselkopf" - height about 3000m.

All of this is part of the national park "Hohe Tauern" which includes

some of the heighest peaks of Austria. An area of sheer amazement.

 

Processing notes: There are three different images in here. One for

the foreground, one for the mountains, and one to recover the

highlights in the snow. All of them manually blended with masks.
